How is the high pressure fuel pump diagnosed?
upon hard acceleration i get the cut out and then the car is in limp mode?
i have learned to accelerate so that it does not come into play. The check engine light and limp mode will
go off on eventually.

Check the codes and look for P0002. Any auto parts store can check basic codes.
Mine was replaced ( 2013 c250 ) with part number
271-070-37-01-80
verify yours by vin
