W204 C180
Question W204 Parktronic issue

Hello everyone. I had a little accident with my W204 C180 2010. The rear bumper got crashed. I found another one in a scrap yard but it was from c350 2012 (facelift). The bumper fits like a glove but the Parktronic connection is different from the one inside the boot. I was thinking to get a new set of cables from the old model, but not sure it will be compatible with the facelift sensors. Any help, please? Thanks.

From my dealings with the sensors the W204 ones are all the same, just use the harness from your old bumper, I would keep some sensors off your old bumper as spares too along with the little silicone seals that are on them, very handy when trying to find a sensor fault.

Hi
I own a pre-facelift 2011 c class equipped with parktronic, and wanted to upgrade to the facelifted rear bumper, was it complicated process to match the cables so they could connect? let me know

Hi I have the 2011 c300 prefacelift, and wanted to update to the facelift rear bumper, but my mercedes has the parktronic, if you were able to successfully upgrade to the new bumper with the parktronic, can you explain what you had to do?

If your car is already fitted with parktronic all you have to do is unclip your wiring from your old bumper, remove the wiring from the new bumper then clip the old bumper wiring to your new bumper, that way your plug will match your car.

I have both here, early w204 and facelift w204 both bumpers use the same sensors its just the plug that is different on the wiring.
