W204 C300 Sport 2011.
I recently had a clogged sun roof water drain line which caused water to filll the back driverside passenger footwell. I took it to the local Mercedes Benz dealer and they fixed the issue.
After leaving the garage I noticed there was a rattling noise which I tracked down as a loose roof trim on the downslope of the drivers side door.
I took it back to the dealer as I thought it was possible that they have damaged a holding clip when they made the repair.
They said that to fix the clogged drain lines they took off the internal liner and did not touch the external trim so refused to work on my newly acquired rattling issue.
They charged me two - three hours labour for this repair so I'm assuming they did something fairly extensive.
Is anyone familiar with the procedure they would have used and if any of the work could have affected the outside trim fixing ?
Thanks!
Alan

I am not sure, however do you know where the drain is?

The entry point is in the sunroof and I think the line it goes down the centre stem and also another forward to the wheel arch.Originally Posted by Adi-Benz

What they usually do is cut the tips on the drain hose to preven it from clogging up again. Remove tires and wheel fender covers and that's it. Nothing done on top.

I would've absolutely never let them tell me that the exterior damage isn't included when it's so obvious it was caused by their repair. Like where the f*** else would this rattle come from
