I have a 2012 C200 Sedan, it did not come with the switch on the drivers door to open the trunk, I would like to fit 1 as my C180 coupe has this option and I find myself reaching for it.
I have purchased a switch, but need to know if there is a short wiring harness that goes to the door module or if there is another way that the switch is hooked up ( like do I have to run a harness to the trunk? ).
If its a small harness would anyone know the part number so I can order 1.
Cheers

So it looks like I will be the guinea pig on this, I will see if the dealer has a harness.
From my rough guess, I would say it has a harness that clips into the door module?, Dont know if I have to change anything in the body control module for it to work.

Does your trunk have the supporting hardware though?

It opens with the remote, so it has a lock solenoid that is linked to the remote ?, I would just think that it would sort of piggy back that system, I could be wrong, it might be a separate thing all together.
