Wipers not working...sometimes
2008 C230, something weird happened today.
As soon as my wife got in the car to head home from work, she calls me and says she turned the car on, and the wipers were on constantly, she couldn't turn them off.
I thought maybe it was her error, and just wrote it off as nothing. I tell her to drive it home. 15 mins later, as shes driving, she calls and says now she cant turn them on. I tell her to pull over and wait for me.
I get to the car, i cant get them to turn on either. Then i notice a message on the dash..."auto lamp function inoperative".
During the 10 minute ride home, it worked fine.
Any ideas? I need to get this resolved, its dangerous for her.
