C63 Tails on C300? (Pre Facelift)
I've done some searching but can't seem to find the answer.
Has anyone installed a set of OEM c63 tail lights on a regular w204?
Will they fit and if so, will they give you an error message?

He may be referring to the pre-facelift OEM LED tail lights that came with the lighting package, since C63's commonly came with the lighting package. That's just my guess.
@jonbrett88 C300's and C63's have the same tail lights, but if you're going from a pre-facelift non-LED tail light to an OEM pre-facelift LED tail light, you'll need to have them programmed to function properly. There are aftermarket LED versions (i.e. DEPO, a reputable aftermarket lighting solution company) of both the pre-facelift and facelift LED tail lights that should be plug and play and are replica's of OEM models and not require programming.

Thanks for the info. You seem to have hit the nail on the head. That answers my question. I was asking because someone on the forum is selling the PFL OEM LEDs cheap from his c63 and if they did not throw an error message, it would have been a cheaper (and OEM) alternative to getting the DEPO ones. Unfortunately I guess I'll just have to get the DEPO ones though.

I own a pre-facelift w204 and purchased facelift led lights from DMP Car Design, was planning to do upgrade later but found out they built a limited-run dynamic turn signal version w/ decoder box for pre-facelift vehicles.
They are a bit pricey tho: DMP Facelift LED Tail Lights
