More power ???
What's the best ways to increase the power in my 2013 C300 ? I'm just looking for more of a throw into my seat when I step on the gas ...and possibly better gas mileage ..where should I start? Exhaust ? Performance chip ? Open to any suggestions

Has anyone had their c300 tuned for more than a couple years without any major issue?
Also curious if intake makes much of a difference?

OE had the MyGenius to me within a couple days by Fedex and the ECU flashing took no time at all. My only gripe is that MyGenius works only on Windows based machines and I didn't have enough HD space on my MacBook to partition to W10. I wound up using a friend's computer to do everything.
I can see a clear difference immediately in my 2013 C300. Throttle response is better, acceleration feels stronger. It is not as fast as a 335XI, but this closes the gap. I only wish I had done this sooner. Before I was looking to unload my W204 but this and an upgrade to add CarPlay to it most likely means I'm keeping it through 2021...

Nice! So does anyone know for sure if the the c300 and c350's only difference is being detuned? Engine is identical?
Also curious about intake, I'm coming from having a turbo, so the naturally aspirated v6 I reckon could benefit from intake, but would like for someone with experience on that to confirm before I pull the trigger. Also don't want to mess with the air fuel ratios unless it's safe.

I got a OE tune earlier this year. About 18 hp increase same on torque. The best part ,IMHO, is removing the rev limiter. I have a manual gearbox so I can pull a lot harder if needed.

I don't know that an exhaust is going to do anything but change the tone. Personally I like having a sleeper. I'm through my first tank of gas on this tune and I'm only 1mpg on average off the stock. And believe me when I say, I've been getting on it a hell of a lot more.

I have zero ambition of any other modifications unless a set of OEM w204 18"AMG rims comes into my possession. This is my daily driver, and I need to occasionally take clients out in it.

100 hp on a non-FI stock engine just from a new tune?! that's nuts did they really detune C300 that much? The C350/E350 doesn't have different internals or headwork or anything like that?

OE Tuning C63 AMG
Fair as I have seen, there is no difference except engine management. I was a little surprised, too. Usually that sort of HP/TQ increase is found on forced induction. Increase the boost, increase the power. OE was great to work with and quickly answered my questions. Could not be happier. I'm at 75K miles before I did this, and I wish I had done it soon as the warranty expired!
We really appreciate you taking the time to explain how you like our tune. Enjoy

Was thinking about getting tune from them during holiday sale, but was skeptical and might do from a local shop that can dyno.
I just (yesterday) did the OE Tuning ECU flash that was on sale here. $600 gained me an estimated 50-60HP and put it more in line with the E350's numbers. Same engine, just MB detuned the W204 to not cannibalize sales from the E350. 92 octane, valet, and 100 octane race fuel mode.
OE had the MyGenius to me within a couple days by Fedex and the ECU flashing took no time at all. My only gripe is that MyGenius works only on Windows based machines and I didn't have enough HD space on my MacBook to partition to W10. I wound up using a friend's computer to do everything.

3.5V6 stock in the C300 is 248hp/251q
E350 and C350 got the 302/273 version.
We're talking seriously better acceleration, especially merging into traffic, mid-highway speed acceleration.

Not 100hp, somewhere around 50-60 more is what OE says they've dyno tested. It is well established that MB detuned the M276DE35 for the C300 and other "300" designations. We're talking almost 60 HP between the 350/300. And most NA engines get a few HP out of a simple ECU remap. A Dinan or Conforti chip on a BMW didn't get you more than 10-15 HP, barely registers a difference on the butt dyno.

Do it. I'd like to dyno mine at some point.

OE have great customer service and are super responsive. I worked with Jerry and I couldn't be happier.

OE Tuning C63 AMG
I have the OE tune as well, I'd like to point out that MPG in city driving went up by 2-3MPG as well (basically my daily commute to work), highway MPG is still the same.

We always like to hear feedback and details about fuel economy savings. Typically customers report 1-4mpg improvement highway cruise after installing our tune.

I think you missed my post. Can you prove the gains with dyno sheets or equivalent?
I’m curious to see what the results are.

If you open the owners manual to page 332-343 you'll see the bore, stroke, and displacement measurements of the 350 are larger. The "bore" refers to the diameter of the piston, which is 3.46 (88mm) on the C300 and 3.66 (92.9) on the C350. If you look on-line to confirm the numbers there are contradictions. In the conspiracy theory laden, VW Dieselgate emission scandal world we are in, not sure which source is the truth.
I also wonder if there's a difference in the gearing of the differential (rear axle) between the two models. Changing the gearing in the rear axle can jump performance dramatically, like equivalent to upgrading the ECU and exhaust combined into one. This might be a less expensive and more effective route. Anyone changed the gearing?
Cheers

I did it for 120 Euros, to get 310 bhp!

It is a quick and easy process. Donno why other companies are charging that much money for it...
