Replacing Tranny Oil
#2
Probably not. How would you know that your drain tube is at the bottom of the pan? Plus the valve body would just get in the way anyway.
Just do it right. As different as it is, the drain/fill-on-the-same-plug and sprag oil pan setup make the process very clean and easy. You just have to take the time to understand the process.
Good luck.

Check the TRANSMISSION entry in the above link and it should help with your transmission service. You’ll need a different pump and adapter to fill the transmission.

Hi
What I do with mine is remove the drain plug and collect the oil it in to clean 2L containers (that is what I have laying around at home, old milk bottles) and measure exactly what is removed and write it down.
Same when draining the converter, it makes it simple when refilling the trans back in same amount as came out then check the oil level.
