Hi Guys hope someone can help me with my problem the problem is when starting in the mornings I have to push the accelerator multiple times to start it starts only on some cylinders so I have to keep reving it and eventually I keep my foot lightly when I put it into drive and then after three or fore minutes all the cylinders start and then for the rest of the day it drives perfectly. Can any one tell me what is causing this probably my mechanic change the petrol filter and also cleaned the injectors but this did not help. I would appreciate if anyone has a solution. No CEL when she's missing..?... you should be getting "misfire" codes based on your description. High mileage motor( worn injectors leaking fuel overnight) ? Contaminated gas fill up ? Problem disappears when starting up motor after its reached operating temp ? No engine work preceding appearance of problem where vacuum hoses, connectors left unattached? Did your mechanic scan for codes initially?
