Help car wash caused W204,C350 2008, to go Into electronic spiral!
Hi my C350 sport 2008(45K MI) been a great car! Love it. Spouse ran through a car wash 2X. In FL at time and car already maxed out on humidity! AZ where lived 10 years with car, moved to FL 1 YR Then BACK TO AZ, car dried out! Told my Husband to let it dry out! Car returned to 99% normal! Then I ran through my usual car wash and issues started again. Does my car have PSE PUMP in trunk? Water is getting to components. Ran one diagnostic at service garage. Said Alternator & Negative battery cable. Researched this...called had then to charge battery and see if it started up? Sure did!
Confused as PSE PUMP seemed first issue, MB dealership service parts Rep just told me my car didn't have a PSE PUMP, that water prob getting to fuse box. Know if PSE PUMP there's tubing suppose to divert water from car roof into trunk. I've read /researched.
My next move given I've not done anything to car since it started, is take to German Repair Shop have Star Diagnostics ran. I'm desperate, and need some help from a fellow MB owner. It's W204, C350 Mercedes Sport. 2008 only C350's were the sport and an AMG MODEL.
Please give suggestions, recommendations.
(As of this post car sitting in drive way. Starts up! But Rainey in AZ since back, buttons on dash start their quick flash, fuel Guage goes to E.,Radio has powered off, if blinker used it goes real fast on dash, normal flash looking at signal.last time with light rain, air/heat System didn't work! I've got fuse chart, know how to check alternator with multimeter-just feeling it's something simple)
