W204 ECU fault code problems with variant coding of ESP and EIS/EZS
Hi All,
Hoping you can help me with a accident damaged W204 I bought recently which had been partially repaired (BIG MISTAKE). Firstly the car had no working EIS so I asked a specialist to supply me a new one and sync to car, All done and it starts now! However ther is a fult code related with the EIS not having teh same variant coding. The vins on all the units are the same so I'm not sure what is needed. There are lots of other codes which are related with the accident so you may want to ignore them for the time being. Please see screenshots below:
It's been a while but did you get this sorted? Im getting an ESP unavailable message on my vehicle. XENTRY saying calibrated okay but then getting C198400 fault stored ?
