Front tire sizes? HELP!
Hey guys, hope everyones doing well with this Corona virus stuff going on.
So my front rim setup is 19 x 8.5 with 45 offset. Stock suspension, no spacers on my 2012 C63 sedan.
Ordered 245/40/19 for these rims and they are just way too big and rubbing against the strut. My question is, what is the biggest or recommended tire size I can fit on the front without it rubbing? I had the stock 235/35/19 on the front and they were stretched and funny looking. My rears are 265/35/19 on a 19x9.5 with a 45 offset and fit well. THANKS!

Clearance to the strut is the critical measurement in front. Check the OEM tire diameter for your model and stay as close as possible to that.
On my car, OEM dia in front is 637.2 mm and I went with a 634 mm tire on my new tire/wheel package to preserve the clearance.
