Open hood warning
Sup guys, hopefully someone here can help me as I am getting tired of dealing with this issue. So I have the warning in my dashboard saying that the hood is open. I did everything in my power. I did slam shut, I closed gently everything still having issues. I took my car to my Mercedes benz shop. They told me to change a sensor that was on the driver's side latch. They have changed it and nothing. I left the car in the shop so they can find the issue, they checked the rear SAM they checked fuses, they look for corrosion , they check all the latchez and nothing. They got in to the brains of the car and the Sam is detecting the hood is close the scanner is detecting the hood is close. They just dont know what else to do to fix the issue to the point they told me to take it to the dealer because they have spend 5 hours trying to find out and nothing. Is there any way this feature can be deactivated the damn open hood warning is the lease of my concern I dont see the point of spending too much money when I know the hood is locked..
