Suggestions for front brake pads and rotors
For my 2008 Sport package with 295 mm rotors. Leaning towards the Akebono Euro Ultra Premium Ceramic pads with sensors for around $62. I can get Mercedes or Zimmerman rotors for around $64 each. My question is, the picture of the Mercedes rotor shows 2 rows of holes while the Zimmerman shows 3 rows. The original rotors on my car have 3 rows. Can anyone who has bought the Mercedes rotors confirm how many rows of holes they have? Any other brand to consider?

The Zimmerman front rotors I got from FCP had 2 holes where as my OEM Benz rotors had 3...I called FCP to ask and they said just "they come that way" Your pictures were the opposite of my experience re: which make rotor has 2 or 3 holes. My pad choice were Porterfield RS4's...great initial bite and haul the car down faster than the OEM Benz pads.

Ordered those Akebonos for the front and rear from Rock Auto. Under $120 shipped. Also ordered a pair drilled rear rotors from R1 for $95. Nobody else has drilled rears and I wanted them to match the front.
