Turn on/off engine to move to driveway on daily basis?
Dear all,
Due to the corona-virus, our C250 has been parked in the garage recently. Just wondering if we turn on the engine, wait for a minute or two, then move it to driveway on daily basis (and after 6pm we move the car back into the garage). Is it considered to be "bad" for the car engine, due to these extremely short distance and turning engine on and off all the time (on daily basis)?? Or, is it actually better to just let the car sitting in the garage for the next month or two?? Any thoughts about this? Thanks!

Running the engine for less than 15 minutes or so on a regaular basis is not good practice.
You could run it once a week for 15 mins or probably best to leave the car in the garage and charge the battery on a weekly schedule or use a proper intelligent charger, like a CTek MXS 5, and leave it connected all the time.

The car could sit for a month and it would be fine. Just take the car out for a short drive every once in a while
