Question: Facelift W204 LED Light Bar
I recently bought my 2011 W204 facelift model with the LED C-shaped lights and LED light bar on the lower bumper. So the LED light bar is the DRL, and it switches on whenever I drive during bright sunlight. My car I believe has the intelligent light feature, as I can see the menu on my dash screen.
So here's my conundrum:
Whenever I turn on the city/parking lights (turn the knob left from "Auto" position) only the C-shaped LEDs turn on, and the LED light bar will be off. I would like to know, is there any way to have the C-shaped LEDs turn on together with the LED light bar when my switch is set to city/parking lights? Perhaps there's a setting on the menu that I can play with? The reason being, at certain times e.g. during light drizzle, I wouldn't want to drive with the full low beam (its too bright) but then the C-shaped LED city lights are too dim. if only it can come on together with the LED light bar would be perfect!
I sort of given up when I couldn't find the menu setting do change how the LED bars can manually turn on. However, very recently I saw another W204 on the road, who seemed to get this set up figured out, i.e. it had its rear tailights lit (so I know he has lights switched on) and his front C-shaped LEDS plus the LED light bar was on! I assumed he had a 2013 model (local specs for 2013 come with different alloy wheels), perhaps could it be due to the different for the model years?
Funny thing is, my car would do it (C-shaped LED + LED bar come on together) whenever I unlock my car at night, but when driving, I couldn't figure how?
Any help appreciated!

in the rain, your low beams should come on automatically, because the rain sensor in the windshield detects the moisture. There is no selection that you can do to prevent this that I know of.
When the light selector is in standing mode, the left C and tail light will come on if selected to the left, and right C and right tail light will come on when selected in the right position.
the logic for the lights go through the front and rear SAM units, and the system logic determines where to send the electricity to which lights. In order to change it, you would have to be a computer engineer and be willing to risk messing up your car’s systems
I am just wondering, if perhaps there is a simple programming, or some settings that I can play around, such that when my selector switch is in position #2 (city lights), both my C-shaped LEDs, along with the LED light bars (which are also the DRLs during daytime) can light up together. As I mentioned earlier, I have seen other W204s on the road with this set up, hence my question.
When selecting position #3 (low beams), the LED light bars light up along with the main low beams and the C-shaped LED.

I've seen a couple of his videos including this and another one he did for his C204 coupe. His setup does look cool, however I'm hoping to find a more OEM/stock solution LOL not really keen on modifying the headlights that came original with the car. I believe Flexx has aftermarket headlights in the above video, which has extra wiring allowing the amber indicator lights to also double as DRLs.
