Bi-Xenon speed reaction
Hi everyone, I was wondering if it's possible to adjust the speed of the high beam on a w204 facelift with ILS. When I try to flash somebody on the highway the reaction of the shutter is not as fast as I would like. My brother has a w246 with bi-xenon with no ILS and the speed of the shutter is so fast.

Not possible without serious programming knowledge.
Something sounds odd though because both ILS and non-ILS use the same projectors so the response time should be identical.

Are you sure? The beam on the w204 is not as sharp as the w246 one so I think the lenses are not the same. There is something in the shutter that needs to be adjusted. Maybe via SD.

Oops I read that as both of you have a W204. There may be different projectors in the W246 in that case. But MB uses the same projectors in nearly all of their models so I don't know why there would be a difference.
I know in the W204 the same projectors are used for the ILS and non-ILS. The only difference is the internal mechanism. There may be something at work with the ILS system seeing if there is any oncoming traffic before engaging the high beams. At least I think the ILS system responds to oncoming traffic.
