New Cluster
Hi All,
I bought my 2013 C300 back in early 2018 and everything is going great overall. A few months after purchase I noticed that the total mileage suddenly disappeared after I reset the cars settings (not sure if its coincidental) I didn't think anything of it and told myself I'd get it looked after when I had more time on my hands. I recently brought it in to a mechanic who advised me that only the Mercedes dealership can have this looked after as he thought it was very strange. The dealership hooked it up to their diagnostic and told me I needed a brand new cluster which would in turn cost me around $3,000 with taxes and labor. Has anyone ever had this problem before? Any advice? Do I absolutely need a brand new cluster?
