2015 Transmission Service Interval
New here. Have a 2015 C250 coupe. The shop showed the “Service 20” code which apparently corresponds to transmission fluid/filter change.
The car has 39,500 miles and about 5 years old. I thought 40k miles was the old interval. Based on the official maintenance schedules I’ve seen, the interval is 70k.
Any ideas?

The service is based on mileage or time. The interval is every 120,000KM (70,000M) or 6 years.
Sounds like you’ve hit the 6 year mark.

Makes sense. I guess its erring on the early side of 6 years.
This car only gets about 5k miles a year (and half that during covid). I’ve never heard of transmission fluid significantly degrading just due to time, so I’ll probably wait a couple years. This is a socal car so mild climate.
