Hey guys,

Gotta buy a Replacement engine for my c250 2014. Wheres the best place to find a good used engine for cheap hopefully under 3k.

....that is a tough-*** question hombre.

I have a C250 coupe. When I bought it, the finance cat also leaned on me for an extended warranty. It just expired this month.

Regret your situation - but am clueless on recommendations for you.

Based on your experience, now I need to really think about another extended warranty.

Where are you located? Here in US I find several on internet and junk yards with relatively low mileage. Have you tried car-parts.com?

Just curious- why new engine? What happened to current one? Is it a 1.8 turbo?

quick search on eBay had 4 of them. Sellers with 99 and 100 ratings. One seller had almost 13,000 sales and the other had over 65,000 sales. First two engines were in the $4000 range, but the last two are around $2000.
