Eco Mode

So I have a 2013 Mercedes-Benz C350 4Matic Sedan which has the eco option. The stop start doesn't activate all the time and would activate once I reach high speeds (120 km/h+) but lately it isn't activating at all, or maybe I just haven't noticed it. I have driven many other cars that have the similar eco option but it works all the time, regardless of what speeds I reach, it would activate if I stopped at every light, but with my car it would work only once or twice a trip. Is this normal? or is there any issue in my car? How does eco mode work in out car?

But did you know stop, start is bad for the car ?

Luckily on this model you can remove the auxiliary battery fuse on the auxiliary battery or completely remove the battery entirely .
