Hello,
ive just recently got a used c400. Done a lot of research on the car and other models. I notice the Under hood temps are insane. Looked everywhere for solutions but I feel like a simple vent or 2 in the hood would drastically help the temp stay low as it would let the heat cool off through the vents therefore also preventing heat soak. I use to have a Camaro SS w the 6.2 Ls3 and the vents really did their job to keep the under hood temps low.
Has anyone else thought about going w some kinds of vents ? I’ve noticed lots of these boosted vehicles come w little to no vents also The “CAI” for this vehicle is basically a short ram intake. Useless. I wish there was a real cai for our cars as well.
