Different Tire level

I got a quick question for anyone who understands Tires!!. I am running into the issue that my rear tires are cupping inside, I bin through two sets of tire and now looking at getting news one. However my front tires are more then half of there life left ( I got 20K on them). The question is, I can put new rear tires and keep the front one even thought the treat level is different. The locale shop said that they can but I should double check because I have 4Matic on my vehicle.

2011 C300 4Matic Sport.

Thank you in Advance.

P.S: No one can tell me why I am getting CUP tire.... so therefore I have to change my tires after 20K to 30K.

Yes you can. As long as the tires on the same axle have similar threads, you'll be fine.

Make sure you check your tire pressures once a month and keep them inflated to the tire pressures shown on the inside of your passenger door. Do this for a few months and then see how your tires are wearing.

Cupping can be a suspension issue. But the tire you use also is a factor. What kind of tires are you using?
