W204 2014 C250 Transmission Problem?

Hi everyone,

First post here so please let me know if I need to follow a certain format or if I did not adhere to any rules.

So I currently own a 14 C250 W204, at around 80K recently I noticed a problem and I cant seem to diagnose it so that's why I am here to see if anyone had a similar problem or has any idea what I could do. My issue is that when I drive my car at low RPM (>3000) for the most part the car runs fine and smoothly and the transmission shifts when it should but when I try to over the 3000 limit the car almost jolts a little or slips up from what I can tell and then it shifts. This problem only happens to me when I am going higher RPM but not in the lower. I thought a transmission flush was needed so I went and had the dealer do that for me and I still had the problem. I also tried to reset the transmission style computer programming because maybe I thought the computer was messing up but at this point I don't know what to do. Is the transmission shot at 80k miles and should I just get rid of the car?

The transmission in the C250 is typically very smooth and well behaved under all operating conditions.
You say that you had the dealer do a transmission flush. Did you describe the problem and ask them to diagnose it? They should be able to determine if there is any malfunction and let you know the cost of any repair.
You will be able to determine whether the car is worth repairing after the problem is examined and found.
That model C250 should still have considerable value. All but the most expensive repairs are likely to be economic.
