Wrong tranmission fluid on 722.6 trans

Hello, i just recently joined so i'm still a newbie here.
My car is a 2010 C250 CGI 5G-Tronic which uses the 722.6 transmission.
I just changed my transmission fluid, but did not do enough research and ended up pouring 8liters of the wrong fluid to my trans.
I used the Fuchs Titan 7134 FE (which i found out is only compatible with the 722.9 7G+). I haven't drive the car yet as i'm scared of damaging my trans.

As of now, i haven't flush the fluids, and i'm wondering what would happen if i keep using the 7134FE fluid on my 722.6 trans.
What are the drawbacks and the possible damages that could be done to my trans? If anyone here has any experience regarding this matter, please share.

Thank you!

You are not the first person to do it, but from what I've read throughout the years, the best course of action is to drain the FE fluid, flush with the right fluid for the 722.6 until the FE fluid is gone, and then properly fill with the 722.6 fluid. Don't drive the car before you do that.

The proper fluid for the 722.6 is MB spec 236.10 which you can find a list of approved products here.

Good luck.

Hello, thanks for the response!
I've did some research and i thought the 722.6 is compatible with 236.14 fluid as this web says (https://www.hobenool.eu/en/automatic...mercedes-benz/)
I will definitely change the fluid to the proper one, but i'm wondering what will happen if i force my car to use the 7134FE fluid. Can the transmission possibly 'blow'?

Again, thanks for the response.

The FE fluid is 236.15 not .14
Please confirm which fluid was put in your car? FE 236.15 (blue) or non-FE 236.14 (red)?

I put the wrong one, which is 236.15 and yes it's blue. I was supposed to get the red one. 4134 which is red and 236.14 compatible.

Yes. 236.14 is compatible with 722.6. With that being said, I don't really know what will happen if you drive with the FE fluid, but I know for a fact that it's a low-friction fluid that matches the 722.9 design. Long story short, I would not risk a multiple thousand dollar transmission by using the wrong fluid in it. Drain, flush, fill with 236.14 and be done with it with peace of mind.
