Remote Start

Hey all,
I recently bought a 2013 C300 with an aftermarket Remote Start. Now that it is cold where I am, I am using it almost daily. However, it is not starting my heated seats. Any thoughts on 1: how to see what brand the remote start is? I have no info on it. It uses the factory fob (Double Tap that panic button). 2: How to possibly program it to start the heated seats.

you could always take a look at midcityengineering.com, which is one of the popular remote start providers for MB, go to your model, and download the support/installation sheet, go to your steering wheel controls, and see if that triggers any menus on your information display.

I have had two or their remote starters for ML/GL. they are typically installed under the driver's side knee panel (under the steering wheel), which depending on the model, is removable with 3-4 torx screws. then look up toward where the ignition is, and you should see a little box.

if it is their product, there should be an option for heated seats to turn on with the activation of the remote start.

good luck
