2011 c300 ignition starter gone bad after steering column replacement?
long story short, vehicle had trouble starting and wouldn’t recognize the key about a month ago, took it to the dealership, replaced steering column as they said for $1400+. A month later, vehicle won’t start, states “remove key from ignition” tow car to dealer, get a call, ignition starter $1100+. Was just wondering if these two problems could be related, and maybe they made me replace the steering column for no reason when it was the ignition starter this whole time? They told me it’s not related at all, what do you guys think?
