audio 20 upgrade to Command
I know I'm bringing up a topic that has been talked about a bit here on the forums. The issue I'm having is that I have a facelift 2015 coupe and all the write ups seem to be for the prefacelift cars. Maybe someone has some experience with the facelift cars and can shed some light on this for me.
I recently bought a 2015 C350 coupe and am rather pleased with the car. The only issue is that it came with the Audio 20 head unit, no navigation or backup camera and the HK speakers. I’ve done some research and found that it has the Becker map pilot prewire cradle in the glove box and have seen videos on YouTube regarding adding the backup camera. (

I’m wondering if people think I should add the Becker Map Pilot and the backup camera or go for the full upgrade and replace the audio 20 with the command unit?
I’ve seen a thread or 2 detailing the process of adding the command unit and it seems possible. The main issue folks run into is getting the dealership to do the coding. What is the best way to get the coding done?
Also, where is the best place to buy parts? I’ve seen used command units and the larger screen on Ebay that come with a warranty but not the other parts, wiring harness, air duct, fan, etc. I did manage to find part numbers but they are for the pre facelifted cars not my 2015 C350. I also found a decent write up but found no photos to go with it.
