I need to replace my front shocks

Any suggestion as to which after market or OEM shocks should I go with?
Since I'm planning to do the work myself I would prefer a complete set so I don't have to deal with the springs as an added task.

Because of some clicking sound coming from underneath the car, I took it to my mechanics who only works on European cars, diagnosed it and it turned out to be the front right shock.

A Google Search for your year C250 brings up sites like PartsGeek.com with "no name" strut assemblies, One site includes sway bar links in $240+ range , some w/ free shipping. Some will suggest more top tier shocks, strut cartridges but finding a Bilstein or Koni complete spring/strut assembly is slim to none...but I'm may be wrong. If you plan on keeping her or miles are up there, replacement strut top mounts add a couple bucks. FCP Euro has all the parts, OEM Sachs, not the cheapest but good quality, no preassembled struts online but a call to them to confirm nonavailability sometimes yields a surprise.

Personally, having equipped cars with high end strut/shocks vs. AutoZone/ online I find upgraded sway bars made me notice street handling gains more, and the extra funds saved going to the best street tires always made an older suspension's faults much less noticeable. Talking spirited street here and trying to avoid the lowest priced suspension parts from certain overseas sources . I consider a large number of positive reviews to help here. All this "opinion"//

Thanks gamma300C
I'm also looking to get a complete set so I don't have to deal with removing the springs and reinstall them. I will do the work so the less work the better. But I don't see too many options for complete sets.
How about the no name brands? any idea which would be a better choice?

No name brand

No personal experience. Reading the Unity info, it appears all they make are suspension components. The complete set, assembled, has a 1 year Warranty.

Because they will start making noise after 1.5 years and fail after 2.

Stock OEM strut supplier is SACHS. I recommend Bilstein B4 or if you want more performance, you can go for the B6 Performance Bilsteins. SACHS or B4 Bilstein will be oem equivalent replacement. I would not recommend anything else for these cars.
