I am looking for help here, I am owning a 2010 W204 C250 in Australia, my comand unit cover suddenly not close properly when I switch off the car, everything working fine, just the cover does not close properly
I did some research and tried reset fuse 11 & 26 under the bonnet, but it seems make it worse as randomly the unit will not start until i press the "ON" button
is this looks like I will need a new unit?
I also see somebody shared that there is PIN required if I will source a used unit from a wrecking car as a cheap option
No PIN or program to car needed for my 2009 C300 when I bought a used unit. YouTube has good videos on how to remove the radio..those 2 rubber small plugs let you insert a bent metal coat hanger and remove the two vents section..then 2 torx screws and out she comes if you want to see what might be causing the problem. Gives you a view of the gearing at least.
