W204 2012 C 300 Tire Presure Monitor Inoperative

Hello,

My '12 C300 has a error "Tire Pressure Monitor Inoperative" message on the dash every time I start the car.
Additionally, the warning light stays on.

I've tried to re-set using the buttons on the steering wheel, I used a code reader to clear the fault and the error message returns.

I've replaced the wheel sensors located in the tires and made sure they are working.

I've seen tid-bits of info about a ground wire fix, but nothing specific enough to complete the fix.

Has anyone on here experienced the same issue, and if so, how did you fix it? Can you tell me the location of the TPMS sensor?

Thank you in advance.

I am having a similar issue, I have a '14 C300-does anyone know where the sensors are? Or where the module is located?

Mine is fixed now

Hello,
the module is located in the trunk, below the spare tire. I took mine car to the dealer for the airbag replacement and asked them to diagnose it.... they said they “reset” the module with their computer. It has worked flawlessly ever since.

make sure you have the right frequency TPMS sensors, some cars is 315 some is 433
