GPS Hangs

GPS Hangs
Hi all,
Have a persistent new issue with the Command GPS. It now takes a long time to boot up and become usable each time I get in the car. Hangs for a while at the Becker/Harmon GPS splash screen, then the GUI loads up but I cannot access menu items for a few moments longer.
All in this adds a few whole minutes to waiting for the GPS to become usable each time I start the car. Certai9nly not the end of the world BUT would like to see if there is a fix.
So far what I tried.
1. 'Soft reset', suggested by the dealer.. held command on button for 5 seconds until the system restarted. No change
2. Pulled Command fuses, let sit for 15 minutes, re-inserted fuses. No change
It 'feels' like maybe it's a bad or failing hard drive or storage if is uses SSD.
Anyone seen this and corrected?
Anyone know if there is indeed a hard drive and if it is fairly easily accessible and replaceable?
