W204 LED reverse bulbs
Hi all - apologies if this has been asked and answered before but can’t find a good thread with up to date options.
I did a reverse camera retrofit on my 2012 C250 facelift and wanted to upgrade the reverse lights to LED too for better illumination at night time when the camera is on, would like to upgrade the brake light bulbs too so everything at the back is LED to look a bit cleaner but also want to avoid the same issue.
Got some LED 382 P21W bulbs on eBay which are (apparently) canbus free, have attached the item for reference but when I put them in the car I’m getting the l error also attached.
Is the Mercedes canbus system really sensitive to the resistance of the bulbs or does anyone have any recommendations for bulbs that actually work without the error? The bulbs do actually work great but the error is obviously irritating every time you start the car.
Would prefer a suggestion for a bulb that just works without going down the route of adding a resistor in series to the circuit.
Cheers!
