Replaced my orange looking side marker housing to chrome and clear housing. Popped in just fine. Switched the original orange looking bulbs to none error canbus LED bulbs. Right side works and functions fine. Left side blinks three time and stops when I turn my ignition key to position 2. My dash then tells me to check front left side marker lamp. I swapped the LED bulb as well just to see if it’s a bad bulb - error still popped up. I didn’t cycle my car, How do I do so? Also, might I have pulled on the cord? How do I fix, how do I solve? I really don’t want to bring this little thing into a shop.
This is my centre dash
This is my left side (driver side)
This is my fully functional right side. (Passenger side)
You need a scanner and clear the codes in that specific module. I remember going through this and once the error message is triggered, you have to go in the module and clear the code to get 12v back to the bulb. It may reset on its own if you let it be or maybe disconnect the battery but its easiest with a scan tool like ICarsoft

wow. How do I do that? Does the icarsoft get the 12v back into the socket?
If you plan on keeping the car, I strongly suggest you invest in an Icarsoftr scanner. It wil be able to read and reset codes for all 35 modules on board. Mechanics typically charge 60-80$ just to plug in their scan tools so it will pay for itself real fast.

I do plan on keeping the car. 😁 where do I find the modules? 😲
