Hi newbie here , Had my 2012 C200 just over a year and for the last week the Top up coolant comes on when the engine temp gets to 80 - 90 ... last night the car was driving in too low a gear and higher revs - I turned it off for a couple of minutes and then it was fine for the rest of the journey. This morning it was doing the same again but when I stopped to reset it again the engine management light came on and the car just carried on driving in the wrong gear at higher revs. Any advice on solving this would be appreciated.

 

UPDATE Coolant is full of oil and fault code P2454-14 which Im told will have nothing to do with the oil in the coolant - mechanic said he'd be amazed id it was the head gasket - possibly the oil cooler ?
