I hope you all are doing good and your cars are good too .

I am new here, reason for joining is to take opinions from the MB owner who faced or facing same kind of issue like I am.

I am observing that my car got stuck in 2nd gear after giving a bang, i switched off and on the car again but no luck, i tried transmission factory reset but no luck. Then i went to two mechanics, one said you have faulty drum in the gear box which need complete gear box replacement but after scanning the car with LAUNCH obdII scanner, car recovered from the limp mode and worked well.

After two days i observed, car was not moving forward or reverse even after selecting gears but this time power off and power on worked.

Triptronic is also not changing gears, 2nd mechanic is saying your **** module lever is faulty that need replacement, gear box is okay.

please advice and share your comments guys, here in Pakistan repairing MB is so difficult just because of no proper and MB educated mechanics.
