Hi! im trying to retrofit a newer steering wheel to my 2008 w204. how do i know what column and steering wheel will fit? anyone know what i should look for?

Hi Nico. Based on the threads on here, the column and steering wheel combination seems dependent on which steering wheel you want to fit, and also requires some modification to the harness for the steering wheel (or airbag?). I'm doing a facelift steering wheel conversion on my 2010 in the coming week, so I've been looking through the forums exhaustively to determine which parts to buy.@aznmode did a great writeup here. It's pretty old but explains it much better than I can. I'll do my own writeup once I finish my conversion. Hope I was able to help

easy just get steering wheel and column together, can be from C, E or CLA

in photo this is CLA wheel and Airbag, My Car is 2008, I did complete dash also..

Note: Ignore Airbag Light, I'm still working on other stuff and has stuff unplugged
