im a little stumped right now and I’m sure this has been posted several times but can’t seem to locate the threads so I apologize.
So to the problem. I found out the cam plugs on the driver side are leaking and what I thought I ordered didn’t seem to add up. The larger plug I ordered does not look like what the engine has. The driver side plug has the 6 screws (picture 1- red circle) and what I ordered is just the round cam plug (picture 2) Did I order the correct cam plug or is the circled part a different part?

On my 2008 C300 I only had the 2 smaller expansion plugs. Recommend buying the genuine Mercedes plugs as your picture shows, I bought the Dorman brand initially and 1 leaked a few days later. Ended up just going to the dealer and picking up 2 of the small plugs, replaced and no issues since.

Thanks for the info. I do have the two smaller ones that are genuine Mercedes. I’ll see if the two small ones fix the problem
