New to forum and my first Benz!

Hello everyone! My name is Aaron, recently purchased a 2014 C300 - my first MB and very excited! First thing I did was schedule a tint appointment and bought some aftermarket wheels that I found locally. Also wrapped the orange side markers. The wheels are 19s and just BARELY are rubbing and any advice on that would be much appreciated, I've seen photos of people on here with 19s and 20s and some even lowered and don't get how they aren't having more issues than me. I love the rims and would hate to have to change them so again any help would be greatly appreciated! (sorry I know this is a new member post and probably not the correct way to ask for the help with the wheels)

Welcome!

Either the tires are too thick or the offset for the wheels aren't right for the car. Probably the offsets.

Thanks for the reply! And I see you're in Milwaukee, I'm in Madison! What offset would be needed do you think?

On the fronts I have 225/35 and rear are 255/35

I found 215/35 as an option for front and 245/30 for rear...and those seem to be the smallest I could do for both. For the front it's just barely touching when I turn the wheel all the way, so thinking that MAYBE the change from 225 to 215 could be just narrow enough to fix the issue. And for rear it's obviously not the width but thickness from when I hit bumps, so I'm thinking the change from 35 to 30 could do the trick. The question is do I want to sink a few more hundred bucks into tires and possibly still be stuck with wheels/tires that are rubbing...again would really appreciate any help
