ETC Turned Yellow

Noticed the ETC on speedo turned yellow and of course it ceased to function not that it bother me as it is annoying; however I do want everything to work on my vehicles so any suggestions where to start (lol). Car is a 13 4matic Lux Sport with 80K miles and very well maintained. I checked both batteries for charge with car running and non running. No fault codes that I can find, thanks in advance Jeff

Get the codes pulled, otherwise it's just people on the internet guessing.

Thanks, I imagine I need a special code reader for this?

I only have a very basic OBD2 scanner, which I'm sure wouldn't be able to pull codes related to ETC. I don't know if a better scanner would do it (like maybe the ones that Autozone or NAPA or whatever will use to scan your car for free), or if you'll need to hit up a dealership to have them pull the codes.
