[Problem] Screeching from Left Front Wheel when Accelerating
Description:
When Stationary I can rev the engine to the max rpm without any noise whatsoever.
When Moving and I step on the throttle heavily a loud screeching noise comes from the left front wheel. Passengers also hear it coming from the left front wheel.
I've checked the brake pad, brake disc and abs sensor. I could not find anything weird.
My friends have suggested it being one of the belts, pulleys or even the alternator.
My thoughts:
Could be the ABS Ring or Water Pump?
When I spin the brake disc something behind the backing plate doesn't sound smooth.
It's not the Bearings due to it not sounding like grind on metal.
It's not the tire either, it's silky smooth.
Any Help is appreciated

Hi, at this stage I think it best to not rev your engine to the max and go directly to a service agent, you may have a stone between the disc and brake backing plate, in which case the disc will require removing the disc to investigate.

Hey!
I've already removed the disc and there was nothing behind it.
The backing plate didn't budge so I didn't check.
I only reved once when it was warm to check if it was anything engine related.
I live on an island wihout a mercedes service agent.

I think take the disc back off carefully check for contact between the disc and backing plate (could be bent slightly), if it touching will make horrible scraping noise.

If it was scraping on the back plate it would be a constant scraping like you said.
What happens is it drives normally and without any sound if you don't accelerate hard.
The sound only appears when it's accelerating hard and it's a loud schreeching sound.

Solution
Description:
I went to the mechanic where I bought the car from, it has a 2 year warranty but I thought I could find out and fix it.
The Problem:
Intercooler Tube had a small hole / leak, they replaced it and its fine.
