Replaced Harman Becker Amplifier - No Dynamic Range
Water damaged my external truck mounted amplifier for my HK system in my 2012 C250 Sport with the HK Logic Surround System. Replaced the Harman Becker Amplifier, but now the system has no dynamic range regardless of what input I use. It is "middy". The subwoofer does appear to be "on", but it is getting what seem to be all frequencies or no low end frequencies.
My questions are:
Are there different amplifiers for the HK that would be incompatible with my Comand? If so, how do I determine what the proper replacement amp should be?
Is there some kind of reset I need to do to Comand to synchronize with the new amp? See below what I have tried.
I have tried:
Comand reset using hidden engineering menu.
Reset other options in engineering menu for audio.
Comand soft reset removing associate fuses (waiting 10 minutes) and replacing fuses. Fuses removed under hood - 26 and 11. Fuses removed in trunk - 84 and 69.
Any thoughts on restoring my dynamic range would be greatly appreciated.
Best,
Frank
