Battery and abs and other codes
abs and other codes started displaying , tire monitor, esp and cruise control inop.... I killed the battery a few weeks ago leaving the lights (battery 3 years old)Had to jump it. On the way homes we got a Christmas tree ! The car was diving fine just a lot of lights . Would this have tripped the computer to throw codes ? Just came back from a garage and the mechanic said it had a lot of codes that seemed to reflect back to a battery issue. I am planning on a new battery tomorrow. Do I need to have a battery tender in line when I remove the old battery ? any ideas ? is this typical of a low battery ?

Try a new battery but go to local auto parts store and have a load test done on battery to make sure its no good. I got a new battery from benz with a lifetime warranty for $300 although it's not a AGM, its a conventional it works fine
