D2 Coilover Thoughts
I have a 2011 C300 Sport 4Matic. Purchased it from my brother 2 years ago with like 42k miles. Today it has about 52k. Shocks could stand to be replaced, and if I am going to get into it, I am also going to lower it. Was looking at H&R springs, but finding shocks made for even a mildly lowered car seems to be nay impossible.
Enter coilovers. I know enough about and people with D2 that I trust them to be a quality kit. (I'm also open to suggestion on other brands if you have good experiences) Anyway, curious if anyone has the D2 kit (mine is specifically D-ME-46) and what your thoughts are on quality, ease of set-up, etc.
Thanks!
I've had loads of cars from 15mm to a surprise rear 50mm drop and the stock low mileage shocks didn't disappoint .
On some cars the bump stops may need cutting down .
Between springs, shocks, and possible replacement isolaters, mounts, etc., it may be about the same cost to go coilover.
