Couple weeks ago I installed a new set of front struts for my C300 2014 sports. I did everything from the moment we remove the strut the old ones to the new ones. After installing we took it for a test drive and every time it goes over a small bump on the road it feels like it there's a large clunking noise on the right side only. Mind you it was also happening on the left side too but we tightened it with a 21 mm socket on the top with the E14 in the hood and the 21 near the caliper. Any advice?

Did you also replaced the strut mount bearing? If you replaced the struts on a high mileage W204 you should also replace the bearings. Check the links. If you tighten that incorrectly like using a torque wrench to tighten it up chances are you destroyed the bushings inside the links.

Just wondering if the one of the sway bar links is not quite tight enough or now it is on the ground if the strut top shaft bolt still needs tightening a bit more.

Something is not right with your ride height. The canadian C-class with AMG sport package are really low. Low enough that you would think they have aftermarket drop springs. You should not be able to move those springs by hand. Remove em and do not cheap out on the suspension and buy Bilstein B4s and go to a wreck shop and get the original springs.

You would need to remove the strut then remove the mount on the top. The bearings on the W204s are known to crap out before the actual struts and it is recommended to replace em when you replace your struts.

Never to be heard from again...
I love the way people rush in pleading "Help me, help me!" You try to help and never hear from them again. The last time @luckywander was active on this forum was when he last posted, December 28, 2021.
But...someone else has posted a similar message. It seems many aftermarket or no-name struts come assembled and preloaded and all you need to do is bolt them to the strut tower and steering knuckle. In other words, the strut bearing, boot, buffer, etc. all come together and pre-assembled.
I do agree going with Bilstein is the way to go.
