NO crank
I disconnected the battery to remove the steering wheel airbag so I can remove the bezel trim on the steering wheel to replace. I was also cleaning around the shift gear and tried to shift to neutral but got stuck on park. All the lights on the dashboard were on to include a message about the airbag. The key is turned to the second position, No Crank Nor able to shift gear to neutral. I checked the battery and had 12.5 volts. The car started before with the same voltage. What could I have done to cause the NO crank issue?

Check your battery terminal, may be loose connection. I couldn't get the car to go to N when my starter went bad, all the lights on dash came on but couldn't shift.
Make sure your air bag is connected, if you had not connected back the air bag connection and connected the battery, that might have tripped SRS, which you need to clear before starting I guess.
