2014 C300 Sport 4Matic Wheel Upgrade.

TLDR: Would the following wheel fitment [18"x8" +45mm with 225/40/18 REAR: 18"x8.5" +45mm with 255/35/18] be a desireable setup on a 2014 (W204) C300 Sedan 4Matic Sport?

Hi all. Wishing you a happy and healthy new year. I do apologize if starting a new thread is not correct protocol— new to forums.

I have a 2014 C300 with the staggered 18'' AMG wheels (style pictured in thumbnail).
The OEM setup is FRONT: 18"x7.5" +47mm with 225/40/18. REAR: 18"x8.5" +54mm with 255/35/18. The manual also suggests the following is possible. FRONT: 18"x8" +50mm with 225/40/18. REAR: 18"x8.5" +54mm with 255/35/18.
Been having a problem wherein one of the front tires keeps going flat—rim was bad. Every single dealer I reached out to quoted me 1800+ for a front rim or said it was unavailable. Cheapest used/recondition rim I was able to find was 800+ with questionable integrity. Cannot find new OEM wheel on internet.

Given that I made the decision to buy a set of new wheels. Drove myself insane trying to find a staggered wheel-set that meets or is close to OEM specifications. Absolutely could not as most wheel I looked at did not come in such high offsets. I looked at forums to see what kind of fitments other people were doing. Not very proficient at this stuff so did not really find a clear answer to what kinds of setups both work AND offer desirable handling characteristics.

Detailed bellow is the set of wheels I ended up ordering to use with my existing tires. Has not arrived yet. I have read in forums that the following setup can fit but I am not sure what the handling differences might be compared to original setup. I am kindly asking for any input or prediction on this issue.
FRONT: 1 FRONT: 18"x8" +45mm with 225/40/18. REAR: 18"x8.5" +45mm with 255/35/18.
I am scared that because the offsets have changed relative to each other compared to the OEM fitments, handling will change. Furthermore, I am wondering what changing from a 7.5/8.5 widths staggered setup to a milder 8/8.5 width staggered setup will achieve handling/grip wise.

They wheels I ordered are ENKEI TMS in gloss black. I used the willtheyfit calculator to understand that the street side face of the wheels will sit about 9mm more outward front and back than the manuals's 8/8.5 setup. I think this is desirable. If nothing else, I hope to have achieved an aesthetic upgrade.

Thank you in advance for any input and I hope this thread may help other w204 owners,
neeolo
