Dynamic handling package - bypass?
Hi Guys, after some advice please!
Done my research through the many worldwide forums but am yet to find a definitive answer
I’ve a 2007 C320 cdi with the electronic suspension, after numerous issues with rusted top mounts/bouncy shock absorbers and other issues I’ve bitten the bullet and completely removed all suspension and replaced with a decent set of coilovers.
Completely transformed the car, over the moon with how she drives but there’s an issue that’s arisen since I removed the suspension….
The car now defaults to ‘S’ mode and no matter what you do, it won’t go back into comfort. Great when driving spiritedly but round town it’s hard work with the gearbox in sport mode
I’ve tried resetting the module etc to no avail, pulled the fuse linked to the module made no difference
Has anyone managed to overcome this issue and if so, how did you get around it

My dynamic suspension probably only worked good the 1st 10-15-000 Kms. After that the Monroe shocks deteriorated, but dont leak, so they refused to replace them. Basicly C Mode works well on a well prepared smooth tar road, however it failes miserably on corrigated roads both M- & S-Modes. I complained under gurantee but they replaced a control box(Made no difference), but refused to replace the shocks because if they don't leak, "They cannot be faulty" attitude.
So that was that.

My thoughts exactly mate, that’s half the reason why I swapped everything out
drives lovely now, firm but compliant even on our crap British roads, but the gearbox being in sport mode constantly just makes the drive more tiresome, holds in gears etc, round town its just hard work
