unknown module

I purchased a month of eAutoRepair DIY Mitchell1 to figure out the location of modules in the car. I ran into a module under the carpet of the footwell of the rear passenger seat. It has two wires, a black ground wire and a black and white wire which stops halfway between the module and the right side SAM module in the trunk..My question is: I have all the diagram of the car but how to search for this specific module and its connections?

Could it be a tracker connected in to a power supply?

That is a tracker (that’s the brand) - stolen vehicle tracker

looks to be a battery powered retrieve, may have been required from a previous insurance company or maybe even an ex company fleet tracker

it’ll either have power feeds going to it, or two earths and a VHF antenna,

looking at it, if it’s all black at both ends with just cables exiting out of one end, it’s 100% a battery powered retrieve ( I fit them for a living )

the two solid black cables are earth cables (joining them together activates the internal battery) and the white black cable is the VHF antenna, lift it up there will be a white sticker underneath and there should be a 7 digit serial number

No. Mitchell has no way of documenting 3rd party aftermarket installations. Connect E55’s comment with Thegingerone. Not uncommon in the “no questions asked” car loan market. It may be a remnant of a previous credit deal so that the finance company can find it if payments aren’t made.

It does have 2 black wires attached to the body next to the fuel control module and a black and white wire rapped in protective sleeve passing by the FCM on its way to the trunk. I traced it up and found the end taped down just a couple of feet a way.. I fished out a black and white wire from behind the fuse box in the trunk and thought it would be the same wire and tried to pull on it but was unsuccessful so I ran a new wire and connected it to the original wire of the module. The car now has a short somewhere.!!!!I I will disconnect it tomorrow.....
Since I am getting a NO communication with the fuel control module message and since this module is very close to the fuel control module, I came a conclusion that the loose wire has to do something with the fuel module.
Thanks for the info you provided

I have been working on my car for a while and I must have drained the battery. The car does not start but I jump start the battery and keep the voltage over 13. but when I scan it using the icarsoft M!! I get a message says the power to the system is low despite the charging car is running and battery is over 13 volts when scanning ..
where can I get this 3 fused fuses?

which one has direct power to all the airbags? all the airbags have and open circuit

what is the name of this part and can I get online and replace it
