Help with column conversion...
Hey guys. I was wondering if somone has dealth with this issue before. I rescently upgraded the steering wheel on my car to a W205 Flat-bottom. I took all the electronics and wiring from my original wheel and made them fit in this one. Everything works as it should. I also wanted to upgrade my colum because it drives me nuts that my turn signal lever and cruise are backwards. When I install the new column from a later year, everything works. Turn signals, cruise and tilt levers all work as intended. When i install my sterring wheel with the new column, all my sterring wheel controls die. I am confused because obviously the column is compatible with the car, and the wheel is compatible with the car so why wont they get along when installed together?
